Project Performance Forum with Kookmin University

Sangmyung University’s College Innovation Promotion Foundation held the "2019 Achievement Forum for University Innovation Support Projects" with Kookmin University in Jongno-gu on January 30.
The university innovation support project is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Foundation. This project will support the establishment of a future-type creative talent training system that will serve as the foundation for innovation growth through autonomous innovation at universities. It is a general financial support project that has been pursued by the government based on the autonomy of universities. In addition, the project will help strengthen the competitiveness of universities by improving them altogether.
The performance forum was attended by 160 officials and professors from the two universities that carry out the project to support university innovation, and it was arranged to share the excellence of each university.
The head of Sangmyung University's College Innovation Promotion Team, Seo Eun-sook said in her opening speech, "We hope that the first year's successful innovation project will be completed through this forum, which will help us to make the project more well-informed in the future. And this can be achieved by sharing the excellence of the two universities and sharing various difficulties arising from the process today."
Sangmyung University introduced the university's achievements through educational innovation at the forum.
A total of 12 innovation tasks are being carried out by Sangmyung University involving innovation projects to promote innovative education, innovative research and innovative management. Among them, the specialized direction focuses on 'future-oriented education innovation for the best education' and detailed implementation tasks are set up on convergence education for major education-based creativity, customized education based on data analysis, strengthening professors' educational competency and enhancing quality control for the exchange system.
In addition, Sangmyung University has established its own convergence and convergence education system and the university is strengthening its academic structure, system, and curriculum for achieving this plan.
